Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Superintendent to join a top ENR firm in PA with a large backlog of marquee projects. You will oversee on-site construction, manage trades, review plans, and drive safety and quality from initiation to completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven track record in ground-up construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage on-site construction for ground-up projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure the project is built accordingly.
• Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques.
• Plan and schedule work sequences to meet project timelines and milestones.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to safety codes.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress.
• Resolve site issues promptly to minimize delays.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure progress and standards.
• Prepare and submit project reports and document changes in design and work schedules.

Job Details
