Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead all on-site construction activities across the Western U.S. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and procurement while coordinating with architects and engineers to interpret designs.

The role requires deep knowledge of building codes, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent, excellent communication skills, and a degree in construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in construction.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
• Blueprint reading and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Degree preferred in construction management or related field.
• Certifications in safety or project management desirable.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The Permanent Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of construction planning and building codes. 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading, subcontractor management, and construction planning.
3. In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to address and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
7. A strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and excellence in all aspects of the construction process.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications in construction safety, project management, or a related field are highly desirable.
