As Superintendent, you'll take ownership of field operations from project startup through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day‑to‑day site operations and field execution on assigned projects
• Drive project progress by coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries
• Monitor project milestones and proactively identify solutions to keep work moving forward
• Ensure construction activities are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and company standards
• Maintain a highly organised and efficient jobsite, ensuring clear communication across all project stakeholders
• Work closely with Project Managers to address challenges, resolve field issues, and maintain project momentum
• Lead site safety initiatives and reinforce a culture of accountability and compliance
• Review upcoming work activities and plan labour, equipment, and materials accordingly
• Conduct regular site walks to ensure workmanship, productivity, and quality expectations are achieved
• Support successful project completion through punch list management and final turnover activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading commercial construction projects in a Superintendent capacity
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, and field operations
• Ability to effectively manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining schedule commitments
• Confident communicator who can build productive working relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
• Solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience delivering projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or multifamily sectors is highly desirable
• Comfortable using project management software and digital construction tools
• Passion for developing teams, maintaining quality standards, and delivering successful projects
• Open to supporting projects throughout North Carolina and surrounding markets as required
