Traveling Superintendent - Data Center & Mission Critical Construction

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a growing team delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging data center and mission critical construction projects across the United States.
This position is ideal for a superintendent who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys travel, and has a proven track record managing large-scale mission critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site operations on mission critical and data center project
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, trades, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget
- Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality inspections
- Manage construction activities related to critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and commissioning activities
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, owners, and design teams
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and site communications
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center construction projects
- Strong understanding of mission critical construction methodologies and critical systems
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex construction activities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on project sites across the United States
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Data center, hyperscale, colocation, or mission critical project experience
- Electrical or MEP background
- Experience supporting commissioning and turnover activities
- OSHA 30 certification
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
