GH Engage seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up data center construction projects across the United States. This high-visibility role is for a hands-on leader who thrives on travel between sites and delivering projects on schedule, on budget, and to spec.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up data center projects.
• Coordinate subs, self-perform crews, and vendors to maintain schedule and quality.
• Enforce OSHA safety policies and ensure site safety.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and phasing for large builds.
• Partner with PMs, MEP teams, and commissioning agents to align field with design.
• Conduct daily site walks, quality inspections, and progress reporting.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination / OAC meetings.
• Track RFIs, submittals, and punch lists in the field.
• Travel to new project sites across the US as assignments require.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up, mission-critical data center construction projects across the United States. This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on leader who thrives on the road, enjoys the variety of moving between sites, and knows how to keep a hyperscale or enterprise data center build on schedule, on budget, and to spec.

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up data center construction projects from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, self-perform crews, and vendors to maintain project schedule and quality standards
• Enforce site safety programs and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and phasing for large, complex, mission-critical builds
• Partner closely with Project Managers, MEP teams, and commissioning agents to align field execution with design intent
• Conduct daily site walks, quality inspections, and progress reporting
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination and OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings
• Track and resolve RFIs, submittals, and punch list items in the field
• Travel to new project sites across the US as assignments require, typically for the duration of each project phase

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects
• Data center, mission-critical, or hyperscale construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, structural steel/concrete, and building envelope on large-scale builds
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and self-perform crews on fast-track schedules
• Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project sites nationwide
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure
