Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced Superintendent for our Dallas team to lead field operations on commercial and retail projects, from mobilization through completion. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial construction, proven ability to manage schedules and multiple trades, and experience delivering projects from $10M to $100M, typically 20,000–140,000 sq ft.

You will work with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure safety, on-time delivery,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec.
• Manage multiple trades across projects ranging from 20,000–140,000 sq ft.

We are an established Dallas-based general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects throughout the DFW Metroplex and wider North Texas market.

Our portfolio includes retail, commercial buildings, office, mixed-use, hospitality and general commercial construction, with project values up to $100 million.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our Dallas team.

The Opportunity

This is a key field leadership role for a Superintendent who understands how to successfully deliver commercial and retail projects from mobilization through completion.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients and company leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple trades and subcontractors, coordinating complex construction activities and maintaining a professional and organized jobsite.

Project Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Shopping centers
• Stand-alone retail buildings
• Office buildings
• Medical or professional buildings
• Restaurants and hospitality
• Commercial renovations and build-outs
• Ground-up commercial construction
• General commercial buildings

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant experience as a Superintendent.
• Proven experience managing commercial or retail projects.
• Experience on projects ranging from $10M–$100M.
• Experience with projects approximately 20,000–140,000 sq. ft.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage schedules and critical-path activities.
