Job summary

Elsdon Group, a well-established Commercial General Contractor in Dallas, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage day-to-day site operations on ground-up commercial projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and lead field teams to deliver high-quality work safely.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in superintendent roles, deep knowledge of construction methods, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans and specifications.
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Local to the Dallas/Fort Worth market.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day field operations on ground-up commercial projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to specification.
• Enforce site safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Review plans, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections and address any site issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and the project team.
• Assist with project closeout and punch list completion.

The Role

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
