Build Partners is working with a leading general contractor with strong pipelines of work across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. They’re looking for experienced Superintendents to lead ground-up education, municipal, healthcare, retail, and hospitality projects valued from $10M-$100M+.
You’ll be joining a company known for investing in its people, promoting from within, and giving its Superintendents the trust, autonomy and support to successfully deliver projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of ground-up commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Drive a safety-first culture across the site, ensuring work is planned, documented and completed to company and client standards.
- Develop and manage short-term plans, site logistics and construction sequencing to keep work moving safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors and vendors to maintain the schedule and productivity.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to review manpower, equipment needs, progress, costs and upcoming risks.
- Manage subcontractor performance, resolve site issues quickly and maintain strong working relationships with project partners.
- Oversee quality-control activities and ensure all work is delivered in line with drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily reporting, labor records, look-aheads and project documentation.
- Monitor progress against the schedule and take ownership of recovery plans where required.
- Support a professional and organized site through successful inspections, punch-list completion and project closeout.
Requirements:
- Two+ years’ experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven Superintendent experience on ground-up commercial projects valued at $10 million or above.
- Proven experience across either education, municipal, healthcare, retail, or hospitality.
- Able to lead subcontractors, field teams and daily site operations on complex projects.
- Strong safety, quality, planning and schedule-management capability.
- Based within commuting distance of DFW and able to work across Metroplex projects or willing to relocate to DFW.
