Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced Superintendent for an established Dallas-based general contractor. You will lead commercial and retail projects ranging from 20,000 to 140,000 sq. ft. and values up to $100 million, delivering safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects and clients to coordinate complex field activities and maintain an organized, productive jobsite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience with substantial Superintendent experience.
• Experience managing commercial/retail projects valued between $10M and $100M.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and supervise a multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial/retail projects from mobilization to completion.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, subs, architects, engineers, clients and leadership to ensure safety, schedule, and quality.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our Dallas team.

The Opportunity

This is a key field leadership role for a Superintendent who understands how to successfully deliver commercial and retail projects from mobilization through completion.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients and company leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple trades and subcontractors, coordinating complex construction activities and maintaining a professional and organized jobsite.

Project Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Shopping centers
• Stand-alone retail buildings
• Office buildings
• Medical or professional buildings
• Restaurants and hospitality
• Commercial renovations and build-outs
• Ground-up commercial construction
• General commercial buildings

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant experience as a Superintendent.
• Proven experience managing commercial or retail projects.
• Experience on projects ranging from $10M-$100M.
• Experience with projects approximately 20,000-140,000 sq. ft.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage schedules and critical-path activities.
