Job summary

CMC Partners in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations from kickoff to closeout on mid- to large-sized commercial projects.

The role requires coordination with design teams and subcontractors, strict adherence to safety, schedule, and budget, and strong leadership and document management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Project Superintendent with a mid- to large-sized commercial general contractor.
• 5–8 years of overall construction industry experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities, serving as the primary field contact for the project team.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, project specifications, and quality standards while proactively managing scope changes.
• Promote and enforce safety and environmental compliance, maintaining a strong safety-first culture across the job site.
• Facilitate regular progress meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, JSAs, inspection records, and other required documentation.
• Oversee self-performed work to ensure production goals, budgets, and project schedules are achieved.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Manage punch list completion and support successful project closeout.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
