D.H. Griffin Wrecking Co., Inc., is one of the leading demolition specialists in the country and we are growing our team! Our Raleigh, NC Division is accepting applications for experienced Superintendent.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for all on-site construction activities, serving as the primary field contact for the project team.
• Schedule and direct daily construction activities to ensure timely completion of work.
• Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contractual documents, specifications, and quality standards. Understand scope and identify changes.
• Monitor, identify, and enforce safety and environmental standards.
• Facilitate weekly progress meetings with the design team, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and distribute jobsite documentation (Daily Reports, JSA’s, Inspections, Etc.)
• Managingselfperformedactivitiestoensurethatworkisbeingperformedwithintheestablishedprojectbudget,production,andschedule.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Oversee punch list development, completion, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite at all times.

Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• OSHA 30 and CPR Certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Project Superintendent with a mid- to large-size commercial general contractor.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including construction management software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal skill to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Physical ability to navigate job sites and perform various tasks.
