Job summary

Choate Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent with 3+ years of leadership experience to deliver complex, full-cycle projects from day one to close-out. You will lead field teams, coordinate owners and trade partners, and champion safety on every jobsite.

Procore proficiency is expected to streamline communication and documentation while ensuring project success across multiple project types. This is a full-time, on-site Raleigh opportunity with an established employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience delivering complex, full-cycle projects.
• Onsite leader with a proven safety track record.
• Experience creating and executing project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from day one through close-out, coordinating owners, trade partners, and internal teams.
• Drive safety culture and project outcomes across multiple project types.
• Leverage Procore to streamline communication, daily activities, and documentation.

• You can demonstrate the ability to thoroughly review, interpret, and clearly communicate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work, to ensure accurate execution, alignment across teams, and successful project delivery
• You have led project teams through strong relationships, serving as the primary field leader who builds trust with owners, trade partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration, accountability, and successful outcomes.
• You can effectively leverage construction management platforms such as Procore to streamline jobsite communication, coordinate daily activities, manage documentation, and support efficient project execution.
