Job summary

Choate Construction Company in Tampa, FL seeks a Superintendent with 3+ years of leadership to own the build from day one through final close-out.

You will lead project teams, champion safety, review drawings, specs and contracts, and coordinate daily field activities. You will communicate across owners, trade partners, and internal teams, leveraging Procore to ensure accurate execution and on-time delivery.

This is a full-time, safety‑focused role in a collaborative, employee‑owned environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience delivering complex projects.
• Experience leading and managing projects from day one through project completion.
• Experience creating and executing project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to thoroughly review, interpret, and clearly communicate construction documents (drawings, specs, contracts, scopes) to ensure alignment.
• Led project teams with strong relationships with owners, trade partners, and internal teams for collaboration and outcomes.
• Procore proficiency to streamline communication and documentation.

• Own the build from day one to final close-out.
