Job summary

Choate Construction Company in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support complex, full‑cycle projects and step into greater ownership. You’ll lead on-site teams, review drawings and specs, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

You will champion safety, manage scheduling with project planning, and use Procore to streamline daily field activities, documentation, and communication, upholding our OneLife safety culture.

Qualifications

• Champions safety as an onsite leader
• Experience assisting with managing projects from start to finish
• Experience creating and executing project planning and scheduling
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specs, contracts, and scopes of work and communicate them clearly
• Ability to lead project teams through strong relationships and drive collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead safety as an on-site leader on a consistent basis
• Assist with managing projects from day one through completion

• You can demonstrate you have championed Safety as an onsite leader on a consistent basis.

• You can demonstrate the ability to thoroughly review, interpret, and clearly communicate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work, to ensure accurate execution, alignment across teams, and successful project delivery
• You have assisted with leading project teams through strong relationships, serving as a field leader who builds trust with owners, trade partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration, accountability, and successful outcomes.
