MPI partners with a top ENR-ranked general contractor in Phoenix to recruit a Superintendent for high-profile commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and industrial projects valued at $20M+. You will lead field operations, oversee subcontractors, and drive schedules while maintaining safety and client satisfaction.

You will serve as the primary on-site point of contact with owners and design professionals, promoting a team-first culture and long-term growth within a premier Southwest construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Proven track record delivering ground-up or large tenant improvement projects valued at $20M+
• Experience with ENR-ranked general contractors or top national builders preferred
• Strong leadership to manage subcontractors, field teams, schedules and project execution
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule and budget targets
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain workflow
• Develop and drive project schedules, proactively resolving field issues

You'll oversee field operations, manage subcontractors, drive schedules and safety, and serve as the primary client-facing leader on projects $20M+ in value. Description

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Develop and drive project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving field issues to keep projects on track.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards while maintaining a positive, team-oriented culture across the jobsite.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with the ability to independently lead projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record delivering ground-up and/or large tenant improvement projects valued at $20M+.
• Experience working for a reputable ENR-ranked general contractor; backgrounds with top national builders are highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors, field teams, schedules, and project execution.
• Polished, client-facing professional who can build relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Experience across commercial, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, office, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Outgoing, confident, and team-oriented personality with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
