The Premier Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Phoenix. Open to Senior Project Engineers/Assistant PMs ready to step up, with ownership potential through ESOP.

Offer includes base salary $120k-$150k plus annual bonus, ESOP ownership opportunity, and vehicle/fuel allowance. The ideal candidate collaborates, leads autonomously, and drives project success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Procore and MS Office proficiency required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, potentially overseeing multiple projects.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, forecasting, contract administration, and change orders.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
• Lead project financials, billing, cost control, and overall performance.
• Partner with Superintendents to ensure safe, quality, and client-satisfied execution.
• Mentor Project Engineers and junior team members.

This role is open to experienced Project Managers as well as Senior Project Engineers/Assistant Project Managers ready to take the next step.

The Premier Group is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned commercial general contractor that is expanding its Phoenix team and seeking an experienced Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, with the opportunity to oversee multiple projects depending on size and complexity.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, contract administration, and change orders.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
• Lead project financials, billing, cost control, and overall project performance.
• Partner with Superintendents to ensure successful project execution, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and support Project Engineers and junior team members as the team continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Project Engineers with strong project management experience who are ready to step into a PM role are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with commercial projects such as education, medical office, nonprofit, faith-based, tenant improvement, or multifamily construction.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
