RIMEPRO INC. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects in Merrifield, VA. You will manage sitework, foundations, framing, MEP, interiors, and turnover, coordinating with PMs, owners, architects, and stakeholders.
The role requires a hands-on leader who drives schedules, coordinates subs, maintains quality and safety, and reviews drawings, RFIs, and submittals throughout all phases of construction.
An established general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background building apartments, multifamily communities, mixed-use residential, or affordable housing projects and can independently manage a project in the field from sitework and foundations through framing, MEP, interiors, and final turnover.
This position requires a hands-on field leader who can drive schedules, coordinate subcontractors, maintain quality and safety standards, and work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and project stakeholders.
Lead daily field operations onground-up multifamily construction projects
Manage projects from site development and foundations through final completion
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, inspections, and material deliveries
Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules and overall construction sequencing
Drive subcontractor manpower and productivity to maintain project milestones
Coordinate concrete, structural, framing, building envelope, MEP, interiors, and finish scopes
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily field planning
Identify constructability and sequencing issues before they impact production
Coordinate closely with Project Managers regarding schedule, procurement, change orders, and project requirements
Monitor quality throughout structural, rough-in, and finish phases
Manage inspections and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and applicable codes
Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, schedules, and field records
Coordinate site logistics, material staging, equipment, and deliveries
Manage punch lists, final inspections, owner turnover, and project closeout
Maintain strong communication with ownership, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project leadership
5–10+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience with a general contractor
Ground-up multifamily construction experience required
Experience building apartments, multifamily communities, affordable housing, or mixed-use residential projects
Proven ability to independently manage field operations on a ground-up project
Strong understanding of sitework, concrete, framing, building envelope, MEP, interiors, and finishes
Strong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination experience
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
Experience coordinating inspections and maintaining quality control
Strong knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to hold subcontractors accountable and maintain aggressive construction schedules
Comfortable working closely with Project Managers and project ownership throughout construction
