RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use construction projects in San Francisco. You will manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record on podium, Type III/Type V constructions, and the ability to supervise large field teams while maintaining schedule integrity and adherence to plans and specifications.
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use construction projects.
The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, logistics, inspections, and overall field execution from preconstruction through project closeout.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing ground-up multifamily projects, including podium, Type III/Type V, concrete, wood-frame, affordable housing, market-rate apartments, or mixed-use developments.
Manage all day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
Lead jobsite safety, quality control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
Develop and maintain short-term and overall project schedules.
Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
Manage construction sequencing from sitework and structural phases through MEP, interiors, finishes, and turnover.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents for constructability.
Coordinate RFIs, field changes, inspections, and resolution of construction issues.
Conduct daily site walks and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, engineers, and consultants.
Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate upcoming schedule requirements.
Coordinate city and third-party inspections.
Monitor production and proactively identify potential schedule delays.
Manage punch list, unit turnover, final inspections, and project closeout.
Mentor Assistant Superintendents and other field team members.
7+ years of construction field experience with progressive Superintendent responsibilities.
Strong ground-up multifamily construction experience required.
Experience successfully completing projects from ground-up through turnover.
Knowledge of podium, wood-frame, concrete, and/or Type III/Type V construction.
Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong scheduling, subcontractor management, and field coordination skills.
Knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with large multifamily projects of 100+ units.
Experience with podium, mixed-use, affordable housing, market-rate apartments, or high-density urban construction.
Experience working on occupied or logistically challenging urban sites.
Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
OSHA 30 certification.
Experience managing Assistant Superintendents and large field teams.
