Job summary

Lee Company is seeking a proactive leader to plan, direct, and coordinate daily mechanical trade activities on large construction projects. The role ensures safety, schedule adherence, and labor productivity while guiding onsite personnel and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and extensive experience in mechanical contracting, including projects over $5M, with knowledge of Virtual Construction and 3D modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of related experience in the mechanical contracting industry with project experience exceeding $5M on a single project.
• Knowledge of Virtual Construction practices as well as 3D Models, Spooling and Fabrication.
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily activities for all mechanical trades on large construction projects.
• Ultimate responsibility for project safety, meeting the construction schedule, and labor productivity.
• Direct and coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Plan, coordinate, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address and resolve problems, questions and concerns.

Summary of Job:

Planning, directing and coordinating the daily activities for all Mechanical trades on large construction projects. Has the ultimate responsibility for project safety, meeting the construction schedule, and labor productivity. Direct and coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing and resolving problems, questions and concerns.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• (8) eight years or more related experience in the mechanical contracting industry with project experience exceeding $5M on a single project
• Knowledge of Virtual Construction practices as well as 3D Models, Spooling and Fabrication
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed
