This role requires data center ground-up delivery, willingness to travel nationwide, manage trades, drive milestones, and turnover. Candidates must have owned site execution and a track record on $100M+ projects.

The Opportunity

Mission Critical Advisory is representing a leading construction organization seeking Superintendents at all levels to support a substantial pipeline of large-scale data center developments across the United States.

We are looking for genuine construction leaders who have delivered data center projects from groundbreaking through final commissioning and turnover. This is not an opportunity for someone who has simply supported a data center project. We need individuals who have owned site execution, driven milestones, and successfully brought major projects across the finish line.

Our client has an established pipeline of projects extending through the remainder of this decade and into the next, working alongside some of the technology sector's biggest developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on large-scale data center construction projects valued at $100M+.
• Drive project execution from mobilization and groundbreaking through construction, commissioning, and final turnover.
• Manage subcontractors, workforce planning, sequencing, productivity, and critical project milestones.
• Maintain rigorous standards across safety, quality, schedule performance, and field coordination.
• Work closely with Project Managers, trade partners, and executive leadership to resolve challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
• Proven Superintendent experience delivering ground-up data center construction projects from start to finish.
• Previous employment with a General Contractor, averaging at least 2 years per employer.
• Experience delivering data center projects valued at $100M or greater.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex construction sites, manage multiple trades, and deliver against demanding schedules.
• Unrestricted availability and willingness to travel nationwide, including extended periods away from home.

Highly Desirable Experience

• Semiconductor manufacturing and advanced technology construction.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly complex manufacturing facilities.
• Hyperscale data center developments and large-scale mission critical programs.
• Experience with commissioning, integrated systems testing, and final project turnover.
• A strong history of career progression, project ownership, and long-term employment.

These positions require individuals who are comfortable working away from home for extended periods and relocating between project locations as business requirements dictate.

Candidates unable to meet these travel requirements will not be suitable.

Equally, data center experience alone is not enough. We are specifically seeking Superintendents who have personally delivered projects from cradle to grave, with proven experience on developments valued at $100M or more.
