Overview

Large Nationwide Construction Company urgently seeks experienced Site Manager or Superintendent

Job details

Size of Projects- $100 Mil +, 100,000 sq ft. Data Centers, Distribution Warehouses, Food Processing Plants, Automotive Manufacturing Plants. Must be open to 10 days on 4 days off - Work Schedule, and occasional travel nationwide to substitute for another Site Superintendent.

Salary

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential problems before they occur and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety and building regulations, maintaining meticulous records of all site activities.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
• Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal waste.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years\' experience in a similar role, preferably within the data center or distribution warehouse construction sector.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in managing mission-critical construction projects, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of construction professionals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues before they occur.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in Construction Health and Safety or a related field is a plus.
