Job summary

Jobot seeks a seasoned Superintendent for a top-tier commercial GC on high-profile projects. You will manage ground-up and renovation work, coordinate crews, and drive safety and schedule compliance.

With a strong focus on teamwork, leadership, and client satisfaction, you’ll oversee complex projects, collaborate with owners, architects, and subs, and ensure quality outcomes across diverse market sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation projects from start to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, inspections, and material deliveries effectively.
• Experience enforcing jobsite safety standards and maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain project schedules while ensuring quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
• Experience leading project meetings and coordinating with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with construction management software and field technology tools is preferred.
• Stable work history with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site crews, inspections and deliveries to keep schedule.
• Review drawings and specs; ensure adherence to plans and specs.
• Monitor safety programs and OSHA compliance on site.
• Lead project meetings with owners, PMs, architects, and subs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and change orders.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Ensure quality workmanship and client satisfaction on every phase.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain productive relationships.
• Utilize construction management software to track progress and docs.
• Maintain a strong, collaborative project team culture.
