Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial and government projects. You will drive schedule, budget, and quality control while coordinating with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals.

The role requires 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience overseeing projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, specs and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating work to keep on track.
• Commitment to safety with OSHA knowledge and practices.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Job Details

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience overseeing projects from mobilization through final completion and closeout.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, plans, specifications, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and daily site activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and coordinating work to keep projects on track.
• Strong knowledge of site safety practices, OSHA standards, and quality-control procedures.
• Ability to conduct subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and project inspections.
• Experience reviewing drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ability to identify scheduling, quality, and field issues and proactively develop solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with Procore or other construction management software is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.
