We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to support large-scale data center programs through project coordination, execution planning, schedule alignment, and stakeholder leadership.
This individual will serve as a key partner to Project Management, Project Controls, Scheduling, Procurement, Commissioning, and Leadership teams to help ensure complex program milestones are planned, sequenced, tracked, and delivered effectively.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting large-scale data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or complex infrastructure programs and possesses a strong understanding of project sequencing, procurement dependencies, critical path activities, commissioning requirements, and turnover readiness.
This role is not responsible for developing or maintaining schedules in Primavera P6. Instead, the Senior Superintendent will provide execution expertise, sequencing guidance, schedule validation, risk identification, and mentorship to scheduling and project controls teams.
This is an office-based position focused on program coordination, planning, reporting, schedule advisement, stakeholder engagement, and delivery support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior coordination lead across multiple project workstreams.
- Partner with Project Managers, Project Controls, Scheduling teams, Procurement teams, Vendors, Consultants, and Client stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment between program objectives, milestone commitments, procurement plans, commissioning requirements, and turnover goals.
- Support strategic planning activities throughout the program lifecycle.
- Participate in executive planning meetings, milestone reviews, and delivery discussions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project engineers, coordinators, schedulers, and program support personnel.
- Schedule Advisory & Sequencing Leadership
- Work closely with scheduling teams to review and validate schedule logic, activity sequencing, milestones, and assumptions.
- Provide practical execution insight to support schedule development and schedule updates.
- Review critical path and near-critical path activities to ensure alignment with program delivery requirements.
- Identify missing dependencies, unrealistic durations, sequencing concerns, and milestone risks.
- Support development of schedule recovery strategies and acceleration plans.
- Partner with project controls teams to evaluate milestone confidence and schedule performance.
- Mentor schedulers on data center sequencing, turnover planning, procurement integration, and commissioning requirements.
- Advise leadership on schedule-related risks and opportunities.
- Data Center Critical Path Oversight
Procurement & Long-Lead Equipment Coordination:
- Partner with procurement teams and scheduling teams to ensure long-lead equipment milestones are incorporated into overall program plans.
- Review procurement schedules, manufacturing milestones, approval timelines, logistics activities, and equipment readiness milestones.
- Support planning related to:
- Generators
- Switchgear
- UPS systems
- Transformers
- Busway
- Medium-voltage equipment
- Controls systems
- Identify procurement risks that may impact milestone achievement, commissioning readiness, or turnover objectives.
- Support mitigation and contingency planning efforts.
- Support coordination of startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover activities.
- Review schedule alignment between procurement, equipment readiness, commissioning activities, and turnover milestones.Identify commissioning bottlenecks and operational readiness risks.
- Partner with project controls, commissioning teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support milestone achievement.
- Assist with turnover planning, documentation readiness, and operational acceptance activities
- Participate in schedule risk reviews and milestone planning sessions.
- Assist leadership teams in evaluating schedule impacts, milestone risks, and recovery opportunities.
- Support preparation of schedule narratives, milestone reports, and executive briefings.
- Clearly communicate execution risks, schedule challenges, procurement concerns, and commissioning impacts.
- Provide recommendations to support informed program-level decisions.
- Mentor schedulers on data center delivery sequencing and critical path development.
- Help bridge the gap between schedule development and actual program execution requirements.
- Provide feedback on schedule updates, milestone forecasts, and recovery strategies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling, controls, and program management functions.
- Share lessons learned and best practices from prior large-scale data center programs.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting Meta, Microsoft, Google, AWS, Oracle, Apple, or other large-scale technology infrastructure programs.
- Experience supporting programs valued at $250M-$1B+.
- Experience mentoring schedulers, project engineers, project controls professionals, or coordinators.
- Familiarity with integrated systems testing (IST) and mission-critical turnover processes.
- Experience with schedule risk analysis, recovery planning, and milestone forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred.

Compensation:
$70/hr to $75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
