Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Scheduler II to support complex schedules for large data center and mission-critical programs. You will help develop CPM schedules, track milestones, and provide schedule visibility to project teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of scheduling experience on large, technical programs, exposure to Primavera P6, and strong analytical and communication skills. Collaboration with PM, controls, engineering, MEP, vendors, and clients is essential.

  • 5-8 years of scheduling or project controls experience.
  • Experience with large-scale programs valued at $100M+.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Understanding CPM scheduling principles, activity logic, critical path analysis, calendars, constraints, milestone management.
  • Experience with complex programs such as Data Centers, Mission-Critical Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities, Advanced Manufacturing, Facilities, Utility Infrastructure Programs, Large Commercial Developments.
  • Experience updating, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules.
  • Ability to identify schedule risks, constraints, and milestone impacts.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across technical workstreams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting schedule reporting and project controls processes.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scheduler II to support the planning, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of complex schedules for large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure programs. This individual will assist in developing and maintaining CPM schedules, tracking progress against milestones, supporting procurement and commissioning activities, and providing schedule visibility to project teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of scheduling or project controls experience supporting large, complex technical programs valued at $100M+, with exposure to Primavera P6 and project schedule management. This role requires strong analytical abilities, schedule coordination experience, and the ability to collaborate with project management, project controls, engineering teams, MEP stakeholders, vendors, and client representatives.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
  • Direct data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience. Experience supporting programs valued at $250M+.
  • Exposure to procurement scheduling and long-lead equipment tracking.
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM), schedule performance reporting, or project controls analytics.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, startup planning, and turnover sequencing.
  • Exposure to Primavera Analytics, Acumen Fuse, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or similar certification.
Compensation:

$45/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
