Hy-Vee is seeking a Breakfast Cook for the Market Grille to start the day in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prep ingredients, assemble dishes per recipes, and ensure smooth operations from the first shift through the last.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Prepare cooking surfaces and ready the kitchen for service.
• Prepare vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods according to recipes and specs.
• Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts and refill as necessary.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
