Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, an Averill Hospitality Resort, seeks a Breakfast Cook to join our food and beverage team. Earn $22-$25 per hour, DOE, while working at a premier lakefront resort near Whitefish. Enjoy perks including hotel room discounts and spa/restaurant/retail discounts.

As part of the lodge, you will help manage the morning rush, stock and set up stations, and prepare dishes to our high standards. Benefits are available with full-time, year-round employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and local/state food handling laws.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must be a strong team player with a hospitality first mindset.
• Desire to provide phenomenal guest experiences, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Stock and set up kitchen stations.
• Prepare food by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, sautéing, and other cooking methods.
• Plate finished dishes according to senior chef instructions.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure on-time, correct orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with sanitation standards.
