The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, Averill Hospitality resort, is seeking a Line-Cook to support our food and beverage team. Earn $21-$25 hourly depending on experience, with perks including $50 room rates at Averill properties and discounts at our spa, restaurant, and retail outlets.

As a line cook, you will stock and set up stations, prepare items from basic components to sauces, and ensure food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or related field.
• Preference for a previous cooking experience.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Strong team player with a hospitality first mindset.
• Desire to provide phenomenal guest experiences, a passion for quality, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local/state food handling laws and procedures.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Line-Cook to work with our food and beverage team at$21-$25 hourly DOE.The kitchen needs you to keep the food flowing. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

As a line cook you will be responsible for stocking and setting up the station.Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.Cooking food items by grilling, sautéing, and other cooking methods tospecified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and comply with foodsanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acquiringdirections from supervisor and retaining information received.
• Assistingwith stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
• Preparingfood includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients, cooking main dishes,desserts, appetizers and snacks.
• Platingprepared foods based on senior chefs' guidance.
• Workingwith servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request andon time.
• Ensureall equipment is kept in excellent working condition through personalinspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenanceprograms.
• Washingand cleaning the kitchen and cooking equipment at the end of work shifts.
• Fullunderstanding of, and follow, all regulations that pertain to health andsafety.
