Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, Averill Hospitality, seeks a Breakfast Cook to join our food and beverage team at a lakefront resort setting in Whitefish, MT. Earn $22-$25 hourly DOE and enjoy perks such as discounted rooms and spa/retail benefits.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

As a Breakfast Cook you will be responsible for stocking and setting up thestation. You will prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, andpreparing sauces. You will cook food items by grilling, sautéing, and othercooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Additionally, you maintaincleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handlingfood and ensuring correct storage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Takingdirections from supervisor and retaining information received.
• Assistingwith stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparingfood includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients, cooking main dishes,desserts, appetizers and snacks.
• Plateprepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Workingwith servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request andon time.
• Ensureall equipment is kept in excellent working condition through personalinspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenanceprograms.
• Washingand cleaning the kitchen and cooking equipment at the end of work shifts.
• Understandand follow all regulations that pertain to health and safety.
