Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Summer Youth Development Professional to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing programs for Milwaukee members. You will support healthy choices, adolescent development knowledge, stress coping, and positive self-image through engaging activities.

Responsibilities include attendance tracking, reporting, collaboration with families and communities, and upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent expected.
• Complete CPR training and First Aid within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months, complete at least 2 non-credit DCF-approved classes.
• Experience with youth programs or relevant youth services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing youth programs aligned with BGCGM curricula.
• Keep accurate attendance records and track member participation; prepare reports when needed.
• Support diverse members and families with inclusive program activities.
• Foster leadership and engagement through member-led activities and collaborative projects.
• Uphold BGCGM policies on member safety, conduct and reporting incidents.
