Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Surveying Intern for a 10–12 week summer program in Walker, MN. You will work with engineers on surveying, site drainage, and grading design, gaining exposure to tribal and public works projects.

You will support field observations, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration while learning the Civil Engineering trade under experienced mentors. This is a paid internship with potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with surveying or field duties is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software, and BIM.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project design work for discipline systems.
• Research equipment and resources for project needs.
• Support client communication and project documentation.
• Coordinate design and schedule with partners across disciplines.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other contract services.
