Job summary

IMEG Corp is offering a Summer 2027 Surveying Intern opportunity in Walker, MN. Over a 10–12 week period, you will work with engineers and consultants on design, field inspections, report writing, and site drainage tasks, gaining exposure to surveying, tribal, and public works markets.

You’ll assist with project design, research equipment, and document project progress while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. This paid internship includes mentorship and potential full‑time pathways.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• May assist with field duties like surveying and materials testing.
• Strong interest in design consulting and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project design for discipline systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Research equipment and resources for project needs.
• Support client communication, project documentation, and permanent record files.
• Coordinate design and schedule with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and project progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
• Help prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other services as required.
