Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Surveying Intern for a 10–12 week summer program in Rock Island, IL. You will work with experienced engineers, assist with field inspections, design support, and report writing while learning the Civil Engineering trades.

You’ll gain exposure to transportation, municipal, and bridge projects, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and help manage budgets and client expectations on real projects.

Qualifications

• Two years completed toward a BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Prior internship in building design consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing.
• Support project design work and discipline systems according to code and standards.
• Coordinate design activities across teams and document decisions.
