Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, offers a 2027 Summer Internship in Salina, KS, focused on Supply Chain/Procurement. Interns work on-site full-time from mid-May to early-August and earn $20 per hour.

Each intern completes a project with a mentor in Corporate Purchasing and gains hands-on experience in manufacturing procurement. Housing is provided for interns outside Salina, and the program includes social events with Great Plains employees to build connections and practical work

Qualifications

• Current college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Willingness to live within commuting distance
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation to commute to Salina, KS area
• Housing provided within 20 miles of location if needed
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer
• Pre-employment physical examination and drug screening within a week of first day
• Proof of identity and work authorization in the United States (I-9)
• Completed at least 30 credit hours by internship start
• Self-motivated with good project management, organization and planning skills
• Ability to communicate plans clearly in verbal and written form
• Willingness to learn
• Critical thinking and a positive problem-solving approach
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and production team
• Proficiency in MS Office
