Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program in Salina, KS. Interns work on-site from mid-May to early August and earn $20 per hour. Housing is provided for interns residing outside the Salina area.

You'll train across departments, assist Inside Sales, support dealer relationships, and help with product launches and trade show preparations. This paid internship includes a mentorship, hands-on projects, and opportunities to network with Great Plains

Qualifications

• Current college student enrolled in a 4-year degree program and completed at least 2 years of coursework.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS for the summer.
• Housing provided within 20-mile radius if needed.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week on-site during the Summer.
• Travel may be required to dealer locations or trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Train with multiple departments to learn product inception, production, retail, after-sales support, Parts, Service and Warranty.Perform as Inside Sales on the phone offering product information to dealers and end users.
• Assist current Inside Sales staff with dealer certification program maintenance.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers and Product Specialists to learn the business from the field sales view.
• Assist team with trade show setup and display at Farm Shows.
• Review and validate new design projects with Product Manager and Sales Agronomist.
• Refine and maintain pricing data with Sales Management team.
• Assist with PowerPoint development for meetings and distribution to field sales force.
• Occasional travel to visit dealerships or attend trade shows.
