Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is offering a 12-week summer Operations Internship based in Edmond, Oklahoma. The role provides mentorship, orientation, and hands-on project assignments, with opportunities to shadow operations staff and participate in daily activities, site visits, and maintenance tasks.

Interns work 40 hours per week, are paid, and may receive a housing stipend if distance justifies it. Successful completion may lead to full-time employment after the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age by start of internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled in a technical college pursuing an associate degree or a junior/senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Planning to pursue a career in Pipeline Operations.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist operations employees to understand daily pipeline operations.
• Participate in site visits, IH activities, housekeeping and routine maintenance.
• Support daily activities and smaller projects related to operations.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and assist in pipeline maintenance tasks when required.
