Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is seeking motivated students or recent graduates for a 12-week summer internship in Measurement. You will shadow experienced technicians, assist with installation and calibration of measuring equipment, and gain hands-on exposure to pipeline operations.

The internship offers mentorship, orientation, and training, with opportunities for full-time employment after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age by start of summer internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled in a technical college program pursuing an associate degree or a junior/senior pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Support Measurement Technicians in daily duties such as installation and repair of measurement equipment.
• Shadow measurement staff to gain understanding of natural gas measurement and pipeline operations.
• Attend site visits, training sessions, and IH activities; assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Participate in regional project support and contribute to larger projects within the measurement team.
