Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline seeks motivated students or recent graduates for its Operations Summer Internship in Kansas. The 12-week, paid program includes mentorship, orientation, and hands-on assignments, with opportunities to shadow operators and contribute to daily operations and projects.

Interns may participate in site visits, training sessions, IH activities, and routine maintenance, with potential housing stipends if needed and eligibility for full-time employment upon completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age by the start of the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Technical College Program pursuing an associate degree or a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Planning to pursue a career in Pipeline Operations.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist operations employees to gain understanding of Pipeline Operations.
• Participate in daily operations activities and other projects related to operations.
• Attend site visits, training sessions, IH activities, and routine maintenance.
• Assist with housekeeping, painting and other activities as needed.
• Support larger projects and build a network within the Southern Star community.
