Job summary

Miami University Alumni Association in Oxford, OH, is seeking a One Stop “Summer” Student Specialist to deliver customer service to students, families, and the university community. You will help with registration, financial aid questions, billing inquiries, and student records, acting as a first contact in the One Stop.

This fixed-term summer role offers training and the chance to continue during the academic year; prior customer service experience is helpful, and strong organization,

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service/call center position is helpful.
• Sensitive to cultural diversity and able to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
• Accuracy, dependability, and confidentiality are critical.
• Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
• Be able to work independently, possess good organization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality start-to-finish customer service.
• Answer questions on the phone, by email, or in person in the areas of registration, enrollment, financial aid, student records, and billing and payment.
• Assist with on-campus outreach and initiatives.
• Help assist students and parents in the One Stop lobby.
• Work on various tasks as assigned.
