Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) offers a Safety Internship for Summer 2026 across multiple locations in the United States. The 10–12 week program introduces undergraduates and graduates to CEI’s core markets, emphasizing safety, risk assessment, and real project experience.

You will learn from journeymen, foremen, and safety teams while contributing to field safety activities and continuous improvement, with potential for future opportunities within CEI and Quanta Services.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience likely to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Current student studying Safety, EHS, or a similar major.
• None required for Licensure/Certifications.
• 0 years of experience required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program development and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate safety program effectiveness through daily field walks.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Provide regular feedback to project leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Coach and mentor employees on safe behaviors and recognize safe practices.
• Support weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Assist in incident investigations.
