Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) invites motivated students to join its Safety Internship - Summer 2026. This 10-to-12-week program exposes undergraduates and graduates to CEI's safety practices across commercial, data center, and energy projects.

You will participate in job hazard analyses, field safety walks, incident investigations, and toolbox talks, gaining hands-on experience while mentoring others. Eligibility includes current enrollment in Safety, EHS, or a related field and legal work

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Current student studying Safety, EHS, or a related field.
• Licensure/Certifications: None required.
• Experience: 0 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in developing Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
• Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Provide regular feedback to project leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for unsafe behaviors and recognize safe behaviors.
• Support Project Leadership in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Assist in incident investigations as part of the safety program.
