Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) offers a Safety Internship for Summer 2026 across multiple locations. The program spans 10 to 12 weeks and exposes students to CEI’s core markets: Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables.

Interns will contribute to real-world safety projects and gain connections across project teams nationwide. We seek curious, confident, and resourceful candidates in the US, with a focus on safety studies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; current student in Safety, EHS, or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
• Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Provide regular feedback to project leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for unsafe behaviors and recognize safe practices.
• Support Project Leadership in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Assist in completion of incident investigations.
