Job summary

Amrize is seeking a RMX Project Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands‑on experience in ready‑mix concrete, construction, and aggregates. The 10‑week paid internship starts June 1, 2027, and is based at our Golden, CO site with additional Englewood site exposure.

You will learn through hands‑on operations, assist in mix design optimization, quality testing, site visits, and data‑driven process improvements while developing presentation skills for our executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Industry Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong academic performance with solid engineering principles.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field.
• A team player with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work onsite at Golden/Englewood locations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in operating procedures, production and maintenance activities.
• Assist in mix design optimization to meet project specs.
• Support quality control testing of concrete samples.
• Attend project site visits with site supervisors.
• Assist in environmental and sustainability initiatives.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process improvements.
• Support safety protocols and daily operations.
• Prepare executive presentations at internship end.
• Develop hands-on skills in field and plant environments.
