Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company invites applicants to a paid Management & Sales Internship in Ohio. This 10–12 week summer program blends hands-on retail store experience with exposure to management, sales, and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves, lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance in-store and over the phone to ensure a welcoming customer experience.
• Sales Support: Maintain product displays and assist customers in meeting their needs; contribute to sales goals.
• Product Knowledge: Develop strong understanding of store merchandise to answer queries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Restock shelves, support inventory management, and support visual merchandising efforts.
• Store Operations: Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and general store upkeep.
• Logistics Support: Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms to ensure smooth inventory flow.
• Training & Compliance: Participate in required training and follow store policies, safety, HR guidelines, and loss prevention protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Help teammates resolve customer concerns and complete shared tasks.
• Project Responsibility: Collaborate on a team project addressing a real business issue or store initiative and present outcomes.
