Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Operations Intern for a 10-week summer program at our Montclair, CA Distribution Center. You will work under a mentor, gain exposure to multiple supply chain functions, and contribute to real projects with leadership oversight.

You will develop problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills across shifts and departments, preparing you for future roles in operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management
• Graduate with bachelor's degree within one year of internship completion
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes
• Report findings to team members and management as required
• Organize and facilitate work team meetings and daily/weekly workload planning
• Support 24/7 operations with flexible scheduling as needed
• Participate in internship program training activities and events
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, take risks, and take on new assignments
• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, and safe culture
• Carry out duties by department through internship rotations
• All other duties based on business needs
