AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at our Newburgh, NY Distribution Center. You will work with a mentor to gain hands-on experience across supply chain functions, lead teams on select projects, and report outcomes to leadership.

The program emphasizes developing business acumen, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with flexible shifts and opportunities to learn from senior leaders during the internship period.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management (or related).
• Graduate with bachelor's degree within one year of internship completion
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future

Responsabilidades

• Understand and learn various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Build affiliations with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
• Report findings to team members and management.
• Help plan daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and lead a frontline team.
• Take on projects and manage time without constant supervision.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables).
• Be flexible to work across all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Participate in internship program trainings and mentorship activities.
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup.
