Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Summer 2027 Nuclear Engineering intern to work in the Reactor Engineering group at the North Anna Power Station, Mineral, VA. Duties include data analysis, performance trending, and development of technical products under mentor guidance.

You will gain hands-on experience in reactor engineering, with opportunities to work across groups and apply engineering theories to real plant modifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Anticipated graduation December 2028 or later.
• GPA 3.0 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Reactor flux data acquisition and analysis for periodic surveillances of power distribution.
• Ranking cycle thermal performance analysis.
• Trending of reactor performance.
• Periodic walkdowns of primary systems.
• Development of Reactor Engineering technical products.
• Tasks mentored by experienced engineers.
