Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering intern at North Anna Power Station in Mineral, VA; this intern will be located in the Design Engineering department and work on design ownership and maintenance of Civil Engineering areas that support the station's design basis.

Under supervision, interns will prepare and provide implementation support for design changes, revise calculations for engineering products, and conduct inspections of station structures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil Engineering in an ABET-accredited program with a GPA of 3.0+.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to follow instructions.
• Familiarity with MS Office and basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support design changes to back station reliability.
• Prepare or revise calculations for engineering products.
• Conduct inspections of station structures and equipment.
• Assist with coordination between design and external vendors/engineers.
