The role involves data acquisition, performance trending, and development of reactor engineering products, with mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities to apply coursework in a real plant setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Anticipated graduation December 2028 or later.
• 3.0 minimum GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Reactor flux data acquisition and analysis for periodic surveillances of power distribution.
• Ranking cycle thermal performance analysis.

Job Summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Nuclear engineering student for the Summer 2027 intern session to work in the Reactor Engineering group of the Nuclear Engineering Department at North Anna Power Station, Mineral, VA. Job duties may include: Reactor flux data acquisition and analysis for periodic surveillances of power distribution Ranking cycle thermal performance analysis Trending of reactor performance Periodic walkdowns of primary systems Development of Reactor Engineering technical products Project assignments will be made in consideration of completed coursework.

Education Requirements

• Individuals must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program at a four-year college or university.
• Individuals must have an anticipated graduation December 2028 or later.
• Students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
