Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer intern to join our fast-growing engineering team and work on ML/AI challenges across discovery, ads, forecasting, fulfillment and search experiences.

You’ll conduct research and apply it across DoorDash engineering teams, collaborating with mentors and external partners during a 12-week summer internship in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, New York, or Seattle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in CS/ML/Statistics or related field, graduating 2027–2028.
• Experience with ML frameworks and research in AI topics is expected.
• Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge ML/AI research applicable across DoorDash engineering teams.
• Collaborate with mentors and external partners during the internship.
